Miss Piggy is a creation by Jim Henson for the Muppet show. She is an egotistical and sensational diva pig who is searching for her stardom. The Muppet Show is a half-hour musical/comedy show held at the Muppet Theater with characters Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo the Great, Rowlf the Dog, Animal, Statler and Wardolf, and of course Miss Piggy. She is considered as one of the most important cast of the show besides being Kermit’s love interest.

The Gonzo costume includes Gonzo the Great shirt with attached vest and fuzzy blue arms, yellow and red cape, red shorts, a pair of blue gloves, fuzzy blue leg socks, and Gonzo half mask.
Rowlf the Dog is the resident pianist of the show. He is easygoing, calm and quiet. He is an untidy brown dog with long floppy ears and rounded black nose.
Everyone has a little weirdness at times that is why the “Animal” is one of the favorite Muppets. The Animal costume comprises of an orange t-shirt with spike edging, jeans, and a character mask. You can accessorize with a chain, a set of drum sticks, and a pair of orange gloves.
Statler and Wardolf are two grumpy, nasty old men who occupy their balcony seats at the Muppet Theatre. Obviously the Miss Piggy costumes aren’t for everyone which is why I’ve decided to write a little bit more about another couple of my favorite costumes, the kids Indian costume and the kids fairy costume. The Indian costume is particularly flexible in that its a great idea for girls, boys, men and women. The fairy costume is another favorite simply because it’s so darn cute…consider these if Miss Piggy isn’t right for you this year!
